For II, at 45, 55, and 65°, resp., λ = 284mμ, K = 2.98, 2.06, and 1.36, ΔG = -0.69, -0.47, and -0.21 kcal./mole, and ΔH = -0.84 kcal./mole. The calculated ΔH value of II is too low, which indicates an intramol. H bond.
